I am glad this guy went through the effort to get this video. But it is so frustrating to see this same level of ignorance with drivers and police regardless of where in this county you are.
Let's do this-- the camera part. I will contribute-- not sure what one costs, but maybe people could chip in & then a variety of people could use it. Think the cops would really ticket or educate the illegal drivers?
Those Sony cameras like on digave are expensive. I looked into it a while back. I was discouraged by reading that it will be tough to prosecute someone if it's circumstantial like having a bottle thrown at you and having a video of the car coming behind you with the passenger holding a bottle then the car after passing with passenger and no bottle and tag number. It's circumstantial if you don't have the video of something being thrown. But if HPD will commit to giving tickets for this I may get some. Has anyone talked to them?
