NC Gets $838M In Stimulus For Transportation

North Carolina has received $838 million in federal economic recovery funding for transportation projects.

State Transportation Secretary Gene Conti announced Tuesday that $735 million will go toward highway and bridge projects, and about $103 million will fund transit initiatives, including aviation, bicycle and pedestrian, ferry, public transportation and rail projects. read more here
