Sorry I have left out Gods Party

But what about our candidates, the men running to be the nominee for God's Own Party? I'm not sure what songs they're using, or if they're using any at all, but I do have a few suggestions.

Rudy Giuliani - They're Coming to Take Me Away by Napoleon XIV. Why? Well, because, as he announced during a speech to the Coral Gables Rotary Club, he actually is Napoleon XIV.

Mike Huckabee - Every Sperm is Sacred by Monty Python. We'd have no problem passing Huckabee's personhood amendment to the Constitution if every American heard this song.

Mitt Romney - The Girl from Ipanema by Antonio Carlos Jobim. Because when he passes, each one he passes goes "ahhhh." There's nothin' wrong with having a president who has a purty mouth.

Ron Paul - The Horst Wessel Song. Isn't it time to get the government off the back of your local jackboot cobbler?

John McCain - Bomb Iran - because he sings it from the heart.

Thats not fair they have possibly destroyed the Constitution. Committed genocide against the Iraqis, subsidized oil and gas for us american elitist's, increased poverty to a new high. Tortured, got god back in the class rooms destroyed the educational system and civil rights.....

Oh yea and made the world a much more dangerous place. Sold Alaska off for oil exploration. Increased AIDS by promoting abstinence instead of condoms and education.

Your right just thinking about all they have done makes me want to cycle to another fucking country!

A large number of the mentioned things are due to Bush. There have been Republicans in the past who weren't nearly as bad as Bush. Ron Paul isn't nearly as bad as Bush and isn't much like Hitler. He works to preserve the Constitution, he has opposed genocide (and any war) against Iraqis, doesn't support government subsidies, and won't be getting his pension as a Congressman since he already has plenty of money.

But my point was this is mostly a cycling blog, not a hate on Republicans blog. The Bush administration does not include exemplary Republicans. The Republicans I mentioned include mayors and city council members; those may be non-partisan offices, but Republicans occupy them and do good things for cycling sometimes, as do Democrats.

Ron Paul is a republican don't be fooled. He wants to get government out of your way so that the corporations can control you. He is also a racist. Yes I know he did not know what was said in HIS Newsletter etc... He did take money from white supremacist group ( i know he was not aware) but he spent it and did not give it back.

Sometime when conspiracy theories sound crazy it is because they are.

His economic policy's are bat shit crazy.

He does talk loud and high pitched which seems to bode well with his fanatical supporters.

The republicans have been in power for the last 40 or 50 years. they are old, white and it is time for a change. they should move out of the way. Keep in mind we are part of the world and the world is watching us to take a lead. ron paul and the rest of the republicans basically are saying we are not going to do anything except get government out of your way and good luck! I do not have a problem helping people with subsidies, welfare etc.. Its pennies. It great ron paul wont need his pension wow how proud what about the 300 million people of this country will they get theirs? doubtful.

As far as the blog goes there is not a rule book to what the format it is. You replied with the republican comment and there are plenty of right wing blogs and people here in Alabama so if this is a hate republican blog so be it I am proud to do it.

As far as the democrats go I hold them responsible too. what I feel more sadden by is how the young people of this country have sat on their hands while their country was sold off.
