Huntsville Ride of Silence – Bicycles Etc, 611A Meridian St, HSV 35801

Join cyclists in Huntsville and worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. Why a bike ride?

A note that the ride last year included hills that would be tough on a single speed or fixed gear, especially for someone who doesn't regularly bike. So hopefully the route is better this year, but be aware that some low gears would be good if you bring anyone that doesn't ride much.

True I was there last year. Maybe you could suggest to jamie that a flatter route would be more inclusive. We are all going to show up but some people wont be up for this. Therefore it would exclude them.

I just noticed the date says 21. Is it today? The email I got said Thursday, so I hadn't paid attention. That kind of sucks if it is today because I was planning on attending Thursday and cannot make it today. But hopefully it goes well if it is today.
