I was just about to post this. I voted before school today and got there a bit before 7am. I didn't know if I'd be able to make it this evening or not, so I got up early to make sure. I'd just gotten my voter registration changed to Huntsville like 2 weeks ago, though.

FYI There is a victory party for Tommy Battle at EarlyWorks tonight! All are welcome!

Is that the place close to the Art Museum. And does victory party mean only if he wins? It looks like another rainy Tuesday so maybe many people won't show up again?

Clint-
It's the place across from constitution village- with the children's fountain behind it. It's got big blue and yellow pillars in front.
The party is happening either way. The results will be announced there, probably even sooner than would be released elsewhere... this was the case for the first victory party when the runoff was announced.
Given the mobilization of voters for the national election, I can't help but assume that it would have a trickle down effect to the local level. Not to mention all the disgruntled voters on mayor Spencer's less favored parts of town. I bet they will show in record numbers today despite the rain. I think Tommy's got it either way!
Oh yeah, let's not forget about the presidential debate tonight...hopefully the mayoral race will be decided in time to focus on the media circus at Belmont this evening!
