Bike month starts with you

How many of us "cyclists" are driving less this month and riding our bikes to work? Let others know what you are doing differently from last year.

I'm riding less. Last year I was commuting from Hampton Cove, so I often went to the garden instead of work. And riding with people who need me to. Or helping with routes to try.

I'm definately riding less.

I'm driving too much in general.

I want to begin (finally) riding to work more regularly. At least three times a week. I will commute from the 5 points area to the UAH campus by way of Holmes Ave.

If there is anyone who commutes this route and would like to ride with, please let me know. I'd probably leave on weekday mornings around 9:30. But I'm open to different times.

I have a license but no car. So I'll be driving the A&M truck if I get help. Or when I'm the only one out there I'll be riding like 17 miles each way again, but no mountain climb and a nice stop for water.

Compared to this time last year I am riding about the same, but, like most, i could definitely ride more. I'm about to start putting a good fendered-up commuter/touring bike together

Leela and I rode bike to Kroger last night for groceries and got fucking soaked! It was fun though and since we moved we have road our bikes to dinner once or twice.

Riding about the same as last year, planning to ride more now with no job and a new city to explore and get used to.

It would be nice if we could get some better riding weather!

riding more than last year. but this time last year I was living in the woods most of the week and driving to and from jackson county once a week... but compared to just a few months ago we now live more centrally and i've been riding to dinner, grocery store, yoga, dentist, optometrist, friends, work, etc are all within 6 miles. we're definitely hoping to use the car as little as possible now that we've moved. and i don't know how to drive it anyway.
I just wish I didn't have to drive to jackson county for work 3 times a week, but for now there's now way around that.
