Teenager riding bicycle dies after being hit by car

A Valley teenager has died after being hit by a car.

DeKalb County authorities say 15-year-old Jeramy Burt was injured Sunday evening when his bicycle was struck by a car.

The wreck happened on County Road 322 in Henagar.

The victim was flown to Huntsville Hospital around 4:30.

Huntsville Hospital confirmed that Burt died today.
